Why is there a charge if I’m using my Stay Plus night?

The Stay Plus complimentary night is equivalent to one night’s stay in a Standard room on a flexible rate.

If you wish to stay in a different room type using your Stay Plus complimentary night, there is an upgrade fee which is equivalent to the price variation between the standard room and the room type selected.
